When applying for a Commercial California Driver License (CDL) or certificates (School Bus, Youth Bus, etc) that requires a medical examination.
The following test for Class A, B or Commercial C License the law says you must have a valid medical certificate (dated within 2 years) with you whenever you drive a Class A, B or a commercial C vehicle. This law also requires you to give a medical report to DMV when you first apply for the license and every two years thereafter. If the medical report is incomplete, your license application will be delayed or denied.
