LASER TREATMENT
L.A.S.E.R. is the acronym
for Light Amplified by Stimulated by Emissions of Radiation.
The laser emits a light whose feature (wavelength) is selected
according to the area the dermatologist wishes to treat.
Consequently, there are several types of lasers available
according to what the dermatologist wishes to do.
The Process is Simple
To damage the hair, the dermatologist chooses a laser which
"attacks" the pigment located within the root
(bulb) of the hair. To treat redness, the dermatologist
chooses a laser with a wavelength close to that of the red
globules in order to "burst" the small vessels
causing the red spots. To attenuate brown spots, the dermatologist
chooses a laser that will help destroy the pigment of the
skin (melanin).
